The ‘90s Dad-Cam is back, baby!

How does it work?

A Sony 4K Handycam camcorder with Zeiss lens, 20x optical zoom, and image stabilization.

Step 1: Save the date

  • Use the booking page to check availability of our cameras for your wedding.

Step 2: Your camcorder arrives

  • We ship or deliver the camcorder (with memory card and batteries) a few days before your big day.

Step 3: Hit record!

  • We’ll offer some suggestions of moments to capture, but the camcorder is yours to play with and pass round at your wedding.

Step 4: Return your camcorder

  • We organise pre-paid postage or collection for returning the camera after the event.

Step 5: We edit

  • Within 2 weeks of receiving the camera we’ll send you back a 3-5 minute edited film, a 60 second social film, and all the footage.

  • No coordinating timings with another supplier, no arguments between photographer and videographer, and no curfews (you’ll want the rendition of Riverdance at 3am captured).

Who Are We?

Cam Cairde is founded by Irish filmmaker Michael-David McKernan who has 10+ years of experience shooting and editing everything from live events, to documentaries, to music videos and commercial content.

MD’s work has screened at international film festivals all over the world including Tribeca in NYC, and picked up awards and nominations at competitions such as at Cannes Lions.
